saturday afternoon, january 2nd. it’s 29 degrees outside here in memphis.

failing at friday

that pesky alarm wasn’t about to defer my efforts to oversleep this morning. once I realized that I had slept an hour longer than I intended, I realized I was out of cereal and as a result was going to have to forgo breakfast. I got ready and blasted out of my neighborhood, and it wasn’t until I was 10 miles away that I realized I had forgotten my badge and had to turn around. my second trip to work was interrupted by the train, so I finally got in about 75 minutes late.

not the best way to start a day.

it’s a beautiful day outside however, and in two hours I can head home and and fart around.
